CimpleCMS is a rapid web application devlopment framework and lightweight content management system, written in PHP 5. CimpleCMS can be used to build highly scalable and easily maintainable object oriented web applications quickly. Its goal is to provide helpful and unobtrusive APIs, a standardized development strategy, and real-time performance tuning without getting in the way of your creativity. Out of the box, CimpleCMS provides libraries for database interaction, logging, email, input/output and content management. CimpleCMS configures itself with an XML-based installation script and can be easily transported between web and database servers.
Requirements
This system was designed to help professional programmers speed up their development process. Skills that would be helpful to have when working with CimpleCMS include UNIX server administration, working experience programming with PHP5, working knowledge of SQL and database interaction, working knowledge of HTML and how it interacts with CSS and JavaScript and a basic understanding of XML. To start working with CimpleCMS, you need an Apache web server running PHP5 and mySQL 4.x or higher.
