Apple announced in June of 2020 that it would begin the process of moving away from Intel processors by the end of 2020, introducing custom Apple Silicon for Macs of the future. This move is meant to significantly impact processing power and increase performance of the company’s entire product line. This event is rumored to officially unveil the first of these new Macs.
