CREATORS GET PAID ON BYTE’S SIX-SECOND PLATFORM

CREATORS GET PAID ON BYTE’S SIX-SECOND PLATFORM

The future of social media is going to be all about partnerships—specifically the partnerships between the platforms themselves and the people who regularly create engaging content on them. The most recent example of this forward-looking trend is the announcement that Byte is going to pay creators “who are committed to furthering their craft on byte.”

According to their community announcement, Byte will be paying an initial set of 100 creators $250,000, and then recycling the partner pool every 120 days. The creators will be paid every 30 days over each four month period.

This is a huge step forward, since a paid partnership is an ideal way for social brands like Byte to get a foothold in the crowded social media landscape. It’s also a perfect way to exponentially expand participation on the platform and build brand loyalty.

  • BRAND: Byte
  • WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT: Because you want to get paid for your time, just like everyone else.
