But what caught our eye was the fact that Facebook teamed up with Microsoft (and Telxius) to deliver this connectivity. What might seem like a strange pairing at first glance is pretty genius, if you ask us.

Having a hand in providing data around the world is a level of forethought we admire. You might not think of Facebook as a provider of high speed internet, but that’s the point. The social media giant is diversifying its portfolio to account for the future of the company. What better way to do that than to have a stake in the very core of internet access. It makes perfect sense and reminds us of another internet giant who has its sights on global domination.
