The Hamburglar Makes His Dastardly Return

The Hamburglar Makes His Dastardly Return

As a new burger crests the horizon, McDonald’s is ready to pull out the big guns to let us know they mean business. That’s right, it’s time for the return of an icon. It’s not Ronald McDonald, and it’s certainly not Grimace. It’s also not the real life version of the character, which was rebooted back in 2015. It is the cartoonish version of the original Hamburglar.

The quick ad shows off a retro realization of the Hamburglar as he spies on a serving of McDonald’s refreshed burgers. The nostalgic look brings fans back to a bygone era, creating a comforting feeling as the brand makes alterations to their established formula. Will the familiar face be enough to sway people over to this new meal?
