SUMMER MOVIE DRAFT

Who will rule the summer box office?

Two hosts. Seven picks each. One winner.

Every year since 2016 (give or take a pandemic), the Movies & Marketing podcast hosts go head-to-head in a high-stakes summer movie draft. The rules are simple: draft the seven movies you think will rake in the most cash at the U.S. box office from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The team with the biggest combined haul wins.

This year’s draft is packed with big franchises, risky reboots, and wild-card indies. With returning bonuses like the Raiders Rewards, Wick Award, Indie Equalizer, and Trade Back to the Future, the field is wide open. Can Shad keep his 2024 win streak alive—or will Patrick retake the summer throne?

Smack talk is flying. Dragons are training. M3GAN is lurking. Tune in, keep score, and pick your side. Want more pop culture and entertainment goodness? Sign up for our emails and stay in the know.
