In this case, Denny’s produced a limited run of 20 pancake slippers that they’ll be giving away on Twitter. One pair was sold on Grailed for $420, with the proceeds donated to charity. Denny’s won’t be getting into the shoe business any time soon, but stunts like this make it a lot of fun to watch brands as they try to do something comical with their marketing budget.
