AdWatch: GMC | HUMMER EV SUV Again?

Lebron James is the spokesperson for the GMC HUMMER EV SUV, which offers a unique maneuvering feature called “Crabwalk” allowing the driver to rotate all four wheels 10 degrees simultaneously. This followup to the original automotive spotlight offers levity and humor along with a familiar animated character.

AdWatch: TUBI | Rabbit Hole

Tubi created a unique commercial for Super Bowl LVII by visualizing the concept of going down a rabbit hole, literally. Complete with human-sized rabbits who seemingly kidnapped people, the ad spot surprised viewers with some mystery during the Big Game.

AdWatch: NFL | Run With It

During Super Bowl 57 the NFL had an ad of their own, featuring Diana Flores, the captain of Mexico’s flag football team. The spot finds the athlete being pursued by those who think they can take her flags.

AdWatch: RAM TRUCKS | Premature Electrification

Ram Trucks released a fairly controversial commercial during the Super Bowl with its “Premature Electrification” messaging. The spot promotes the electric Ram Rev 1500 due to be released in late 2024.

AdWatch: KIA | Binky Dad

Kia’s ad spot featuring the automaker’s Telluride X-Pro SUV demonstrates that a child’s favorite pacifier is critical when going on vacation.

AdWatch: GOOGLE | Fixed on Pixel

Google promotes a feature for the Pixel phone that fixes unwanted aspects of a photo. Say goodbye to photo bombers, blurry pictures and even ex-partners.

AdWatch: DORITOS | Jack’s New Angle

In this ad spot, Jack Harlow has been looking for something new in his music career and is inspired by a Doritos chip, causing a worldwide obsession with the musical instrument.

Pringles shows us that everyone gets their hand stuck in the Pringles can, and that’s okay, because it happens to the best of us.

AdWatch: GM | Why not an EV

Will Ferrell promotes a partnership between Netflix and GM, where the car maker will be placing its electric vehicles in Netflix shows.

AdWatch: BOOKING.COM | Somewhere, Anywhere

Booking.com brought in Melissa McCarthy for its Super Bowl advertising effort which has the comedic actor break out in song while showing her in various vacation scenarios.

AdWatch: TWIX | Chickens

Twix introduces a new cookie dough flavor. The commercial features two talking chickens who ask some very philosophical questions.

AdWatch: PARAMOUNT PLUS | Stallone Face

Behold Paramount Mountain, where Sly Stallone is trying to reach the summit of his own stone face. At base camp we see some iconic television characters that can be found on the brand’s streaming service—Paramount Plus.

This Bud Light commercial with Miles Teller is a wonderful reminder to make the most out of life, even when you’re on hold.

AdWatch: BUDWEISER | Six Degrees of Bud

In this super bowl LVII Budweiser ad narrated by Kevin Bacon we’re reminded of the “Six Degree of Separation” game and the general idea of everyone being connected to each other.

AdWatch: M&M’s | Yum

M&M’s newest campaign with Maya Rudolph has them officially changing their social media account to Ma&Ya’s.

AdWatch: MICHELOB ULTRA | New Member’s Day

Michelob Ultra brings back a classic with a Caddy Shack inspired ad spot for Super Bowl 57. Along with Serena Williams, the commercial sees some other major sports stars reenacting familiar scenes from the original movie.

In the heartfelt video we are introduced to Mrs. Hayes who is kind and caring neighbor. Two things have been constant to the people she has affected, her love and her 1950’s Chevy.

In this comedic ad “Everyone Has a Story to Smell” by Native, a woman is pulled over for speeding. When the policeman asks if she has been drinking, she blames the scent on her spiked eggnog body wash.
